“My soul is thirsting for you, O Lord my God.”

How is “thirsting” different from the “longing” expressed in last Sunday’s Psalm response?
Imagine the feeling of having your thirst quenched after having been parched. What adjectives would you use to describe how you felt afterward?
Can you think of a time when you felt the Lord quench the thirst inside your soul? Take a moment to reflect and thank Him for this grace.
Lord, You are living water. Please fill my soul, my heart, and my mind with Yourself. Amen.
